The school has just benefitted from an entire rebuild, so is now brand new with exceptional faclilites and a lovely clean working environment. The school is a smaller than average secondary school serving the Heanor area.

**Vacancy Details**
- To work one to one with selected pupils requiring academic and emotional support.
- To use a variety of creative techniques to engage the pupil in leanrning activities.
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and activities for students.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for the students assigned to you as well as other pupils in the class.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
- Utilize effective communication skills to interact with students, parents, and other staff members.

The following conditions are required to be eligible for this vacancy:

- Previous experience working with children, especially those with special needs or autism, is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well with a team of educators and support staff.
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a classroom setting.
- Full enhanced DBS
- Minimum of 2 quality references
- Completion of trial / interview etc
- Completion of registration with Education World
