Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neurophysiologist to join our team at the Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Neurophysiology department, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical services in the field of neurophysiology, with a focus on EEG and invasive telemetry monitoring.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct and interpret EEG studies, including routine EEG reporting and EMG
  • Develop and implement effective neurophysiological monitoring strategies for invasive telemetry monitoring
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for patients with neurological disorders
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of neurophysiology
  • Provide teaching and training to junior medical staff and physiologists
Requirements
  • CCST in Clinical Neurophysiology or equivalent
  • Significant experience in clinical neurophysiology, particularly adult EEG
  • Strong understanding of clinical neurophysiology principles and role in diagnosis and management of neurological disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
