Job Title: Consultant Neurophysiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Neurophysiologist to join our team at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Neurophysiology department, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical services in the field of neurophysiology, including EEG and EMG.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, with flexibility in the job plan to accommodate part-time or flexible working arrangements. The successful candidate will have significant expertise in EEG, including invasive telemetry monitoring and routine EEG reporting, as well as EMG. You will work closely with our existing team of Consultant Neurophysiologists to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our neurophysiology services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical services in EEG and EMG, including routine reporting and invasive telemetry monitoring.
  • Contribute to the development of our neurophysiology services, including the implementation of new technologies and techniques.
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in teaching and training activities, including the supervision of junior medical staff and physiologists.
  • Contribute to the development of our research and innovation agenda, including the design and delivery of research studies.
