Job Role Overview

As a key member of the Hill Group UK team, you will play a vital role in championing and fostering a learning culture that drives business success. Your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver various learning and development initiatives that support the growth and development of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver training programs that address competency gaps and support business objectives
  • Assist in the assessment of training needs and support the development of training activities
  • Support the effective coordination of training and events
  • Work with the wider team, including the Talent and HR teams, to develop and implement learning and development strategies
  • Manage the Learning Management System and support the development and administration of performance review processes
  • Support the design, development, and administration of company-wide learning interventions
  • Manage the requests for professional studies and support the development and communication of core competencies for the business
  • Support the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Strategy and facilitate training, team development, and other learning initiatives
  • Develop and maintain career development plans and learning pathways
  • Manage the Degree Apprenticeship Scheme and the apprenticeship levy and CITB funding process
Requirements
  • Experience working in a fast-paced business with the ability to work on several priorities simultaneously
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver effective content and courses
  • Ability to manage the classroom environment, including virtual classrooms
  • Full understanding of the life cycle of training design through to evaluation
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
