We are a leading organization in the field of digital assets policy, shaping the future regulatory regime for crypto and developing in-depth knowledge of the sector.

The Team

The Crypto Policy team sits in the Payments and Digital Assets Policy Department and plays a central role in leading the organization's policy work on cryptoassets.

Regulation of the cryptoassets sector is already underway, and we are working closely with multiple internal stakeholders, government agencies, industry, and international regulators to develop a future regulatory framework.

Key Responsibilities

You will be working in the heart of the innovative and fast-moving world of crypto, where we are currently designing the regulatory regime for crypto assets, working closely with the government and leading the Digital Assets Policy Team.

You will be managing a team delivering significant projects, and developing new regulatory regimes, as well as playing a key role coordinating the development of crypto policy across the organization and inputting heavily into international crypto policy.

In addition, you will:

  • Be part of the departmental management team for Market Analysis and Policy – Payments and Digital Assets and contribute to the development and delivery of our work around digital assets
  • Lead material workstreams to shape and develop various aspects of digital assets policy, working closely with the existing crypto policy team
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain, support and manage a high-performing team through effective recruitment, performance management, and development of staff from diverse backgrounds and of various levels
