King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Medical Equipment Training Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the Medical Equipment Resource Centre, you will play a crucial role in providing training and support to clinical staff across the Trust.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the training database team, including data entry, records archiving, and telephone work.
  • Order medical devices and accessories as needed, identified by leadership.
  • Prepare training programs, agreeing priorities with the Medical Devices Management Group.
  • Assess medical device training needs across the Trust and coordinate training initiatives.
  • Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to provide equipment training.
  • Ensure effective advertising of training initiatives to the target audience.
  • Assist in the delivery of training to Trust staff.
  • Develop high-quality training materials and documents for clinical staff.
  • Participate in audit and assurance work to evaluate training systems.
Requirements:
  • Relevant NVQ 4 or diploma, including Maths, English, and a science.
  • GCSE A-C grade in Maths and English, or equivalent qualification or experience.
  • Experience in a general office environment, administrative and clerical work, and Microsoft Office packages.
  • Knowledge of medical device operation, medical techniques, and scientific terms.
