Job Title: Billing Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Billing Administrator to join our team at Arcus FM Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our billing systems, working closely with internal functions and external suppliers to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure purchase invoices are received, captured, and recorded on our billing systems in a timely manner.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure prompt and accurate invoicing.
  • Proactively pursue sub-contractors to ensure required paperwork and accompanying invoices are submitted within the required timeframe.
  • Provide reporting to the Commercial Analyst on rejected work orders, enabling timely review and escalation as needed.
  • Conduct analysis and reporting on cost recovery ratios, highlighting areas for improvement and providing recommendations for implementation.
  • Assist the credit controller with issuing invoices for other areas as required to maximize cash receipts.
  • Provide ad-hoc management information and reports as requested.
  • Prepare analyses of accounts and produce monthly reports as needed.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have extensive Sales Ledger experience gained in a fast-paced environment, with excellent Excel skills and the ability to work with multiple systems. They will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to think critically to resolve issues.

We offer a competitive salary, up to £27,000 - £30,000 dependent on experience, plus a range of benefits including a discretionary bonus scheme, 25 days holiday, and a group personal pension scheme.
