SAP S/4 Hana Finance Transformation Project Manager

Our client, a major global brand, is embarking on a significant transformation programme spanning its organisation and technical underpinning. This transformation covers all significant areas of the business, with the ERP chosen to deliver this work being S/4HANA (private cloud).

The Finance Project Manager will directly manage projects in the Finance Portfolio from a finance business perspective, working alongside various service integration partners and IS project managers. The role is critical in the successful delivery of business benefits to the company.

The Finance Project Manager is responsible for delivery of the Finance components of the project, working predominantly with the SAP S/4Hana platform, but may also include projects using different technologies. Travel across Europe may be required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects in the Finance Portfolio from a finance business perspective.
  • Work alongside various service integration partners and IS project managers.
  • Deliver the Finance components of the project.
  • Work predominantly with the SAP S/4Hana platform.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Manage teams across multiple time zones.
  • Optimize resources and costs for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Professional certifications in project or programme management (such as MSP, PMP or PRINCE2).
  • Experience of delivering multiple end to end projects, preferably based on the SAP S/4 HANA platform.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful project delivery.
  • Familiarity with SAP modules relevant to the organization's processes.
  • Track record of delivery with outsourced service integration partners.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Flexible and proactive attitude.
  • Self-driven and motivated to succeed.
  • Leadership skills with a focus on team motivation and collaboration.
  • Skills in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements and best practices in SAP projects.
