Job Overview:

Chief Executive Officer Communications Strategist at JLL. This role involves collaborating with the Global Head of Communications and the CEO's Chief of Staff to create and implement a cohesive communications strategy for the CEO. Your efforts will focus on establishing the CEO as a thought leader and fostering positive relationships with various stakeholders, including employees, clients, investors, media, and industry leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Chief Executive Officer Communications Strategist, your daily tasks will include:

  1. Brand Development: Shape and enhance the CEO's personal brand by developing engaging narratives, essential messages, and talking points that reflect their expertise, vision, and values. Ensure uniform messaging across all platforms.
  2. Media Engagement: Collaborate with the global external communications team to actively pursue opportunities for media interviews, press releases, and thought leadership pieces to boost the CEO's profile and influence.
  3. Internal Communications: Partner with the internal communications team to synchronize the CEO's messages with the overall company communication strategy.
  4. Digital Presence: Manage the CEO's online presence, ensuring a robust and consistent digital identity.
  5. Investor Communication: Work alongside the Investor Relations team to provide communication support for quarterly earnings calls, shareholder meetings, and other investor-related activities.
  6. Event Coordination: Organize and oversee speaking engagements for the CEO, ensuring maximum visibility and impact.
  7. Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor actions, and market changes to identify opportunities and challenges relevant to the CEO's communication strategy.
  8. Performance Evaluation: Set key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of communication initiatives. Regularly report insights to stakeholders, highlighting successes and suggesting areas for enhancement.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
  2. Demonstrated experience in a similar executive communications position, ideally within the real estate, finance, or corporate sectors.
  3. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to create engaging messages and narratives.
  4. Strong media relations capabilities and a history of successful media placements.
  5. Expertise in leveraging social media platforms for executive branding and communication purposes.
  6. Excellent organizational and project management skills, adept at managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior executives.
  8. A strategic thinker with a proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving.
  9. High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential information.
Preferred Experience and Skills:

A solid understanding of corporate real estate and related market dynamics is advantageous.
