As a pivotal member of our organization, you will engage in the analysis of high-quality technical datasets to uncover significant insights and correlations, utilizing tools such as Linux OS.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough data exploration to identify noteworthy findings and unusual patterns.
  • Ensuring timely processing of data while maintaining high standards of quality in analysis.
  • Developing innovative solutions and tools to tackle emerging challenges during data processing.
  • Communicating key analytical insights and findings to various teams within the organization, including wet-lab and management.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high-level degree qualification, preferably a PhD, in bioinformatics or a closely related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Linux OS and associated tools.
  • Experience with programming and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and R.
  • Expertise in handling long-read transcriptomic data, including PacBio and/or Nanopore sequencing data.
  • A solid understanding of transcriptomics and bioinformatics, particularly in long-read transcriptomics pipelines.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in conveying complex information across diverse fields, including biology and computing.
