Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenues and Benefits Support Specialist to join our team at NEC Software Solutions. As a Council Tax and Business Rates Consultant, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients resolve software issues and enquiries, building strong relationships with clients, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your current skillset in a new and challenging way. You will be working closely with our development and product teams to improve our software and drive customer satisfaction. Your background in Council Tax and/or Business Rates will be invaluable in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance, application support, usage advice, and guidance to NEC customers.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of application environments and ability to pick up application support issues and work towards SLAs.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for revenue generation through the provision of additional services and solutions to customers.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of Revenues and Benefits software.
  • Good knowledge of Revenues Legislation, Council Tax, and Non-Domestic Rates.
  • Ability to recognise and prioritise urgent calls.
  • Good customer relationship skills.
