Location: Surrey Hills
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Intervention and Pastoral Assistant to join our team at a specialist school near Reigate. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, aged 10-16 years old.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group support to students with SEMH needs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized support plans
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support system
- Participate in on-site training and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in Psychology, Criminology, or a related field
- Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS clearance
What We Offer:
- Competitive daily rate: £80-£85
- Term-time only, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm
