About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic School in North London. The successful candidate will support a student with various SEND requirements, providing individualized support and assistance in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to a student with SEND requirements
  • Assist the student in a classroom setting, helping with academic learning and daily tasks
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Support the student's emotional and social development, promoting independence and confidence
Requirements
  • Experience working with students with SEND requirements in a primary or secondary school environment
  • Minimum 3 months experience working with students who have SEND
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
  • Ability to work well as part of a large multi-skilled team
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a positive and proactive attitude
