Job Title: Resourcing Consultant

Heat Recruitment is seeking a skilled Resourcing Consultant to join our team in the waste management sector.

The Role

The Resourcing Consultant will be responsible for advertising, registering, and onboarding candidates for roles within the waste management sector. This includes managing central management systems updates, handling general candidate inquiries, and supporting the team in associated duties to supply a successful flexible workforce to our clients.

This role involves recruiting for recycling positions in the Grantham area, with a hybrid working arrangement requiring on-site presence 2-3 times per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-screen candidates before interviews for suitability and conduct registrations
  • Prepare and deliver client inductions and testing
  • Search company databases to find suitable candidates for client vacancies
  • Manage temporary availability to meet client needs
  • Shortlist and present candidate CVs in line with job order requests
  • Organize interviews for candidates as requested by clients
  • Brief candidates on job responsibilities, salary, and benefits
  • Ensure daily PPE and uniform distribution, adhering to safe working procedures
  • Coordinate staff holidays with clients' staff holiday planners to ensure full coverage

Requirements

  • Previous experience in recruitment is essential
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety at work
  • Understanding of waste and recycling collection operations is an advantage
  • Problem-solving skills and excellent English language proficiency are required
  • Very good numeracy skills and ability to multitask under pressure
  • Flexible and adaptable approach, with a valid and clean driving license and own car an advantage
