About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Recruitment Consultant to join our team at Heat Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advertising, registering, and onboarding candidates for roles within the waste management sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-screen candidates before their interview for suitability and conduct registrations
  • Preparing and delivering specific client inductions and testing
  • Completing a search on our database to find suitable candidates for client vacancies
  • Manage temporary availability to meet client needs
  • Specifying CVs / Market candidates, Search / Shortlist CVs in line with job order requests, Ensure CVs are of a specific standard and reflective of client requests
  • Organising interviews for candidates as requested by the client
  • Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary, and benefits on the job in question
  • Ensuring that our and client's induction requirements are met and ensuring that pre-screening of new staff members is in adherence with our and client's Health & Safety working practices
  • Co-ordinating staff holidays jointly with the clients' staff holiday planner ensuring full coverage
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a recruitment background is essential
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety at work
  • Understanding of waste and recycling collection operations is an advantage
  • Must be able to demonstrate problem-solving skills
  • Excellent level of English, both spoken and written is essential
  • Very good level of numeracy
  • Ability to multitask while under pressure
  • Flexible, adaptable approach is essential
  • Holding a valid and clean driving license with own car is an advantage
