About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Night Support Worker to join our team at Marron House. This residential service provides a recovery-focused environment for men with long-term mental health challenges. As a Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting residents as they work towards increased independence and successful resettlement into lower support accommodation.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and attentive care to residents during the night shift.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents throughout the night.
- Respond promptly and effectively to any resident needs or emergencies.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene and medication administration, as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents.
- Document resident interactions and observations accurately and thoroughly.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless care delivery.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to caregiving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
