About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Caretaker to join our team in Kent, London, and Hampshire. As a key member of our local team, you will be responsible for delivering high-standard caretaking services to our housing properties, ensuring exceptional customer service, and adhering to safety, quality, and cost control standards.

This is a field-based role that requires a proactive and organized individual who can work independently. You will be provided with a company van and fuel card for travel, and you will be responsible for ensuring that cleaning, repairs, and maintenance are carried out in accordance with agreed protocols and time frames.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake regular property inspections to identify and report any maintenance issues
  • Carry out routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure properties are kept in good condition
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and coordination of tasks
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Experience in caretaking, cleaning, or laboring
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Able to understand and follow standard operating procedures
  • Able to use a PDA following training
