On behalf of our client, an established aerospace tier 1 manufacturer, we are seeking a Facilities Technician to join their growing team in Farnborough. This role will involve working closely with the HSE & Facilities Manager and the wider Facilities team to support the core business, improve processes, and ensure a suitable working environment for all employees.
Facilities Management : Work both hands-on (80%) and in the office (20%) as part of the Facilities team, ensuring all site equipment is serviced and maintained according to current legislation and high health and safety standards.
Maintenance Coordination : Oversee planned and preventative maintenance, ensuring it is completed in a timely manner and meets statutory compliance standards.
Repair Monitoring : Contractor Supervision : Supervise and coordinate contractors and auditors, ensuring all permits are in place prior to any work being undertaken.
Experience : Proven experience with TPM, work scheduling, and HSE standards, particularly in a production facilities role.
Competence in maintenance tasks and good computer skills, including proficiency with Google, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to travel between sites and flexibility in working hours.
Driving Licence : Clean driving licence is required.
