About the School

The school is seeking a committed and passionate Teacher of English with a SEN specialism to deliver enthusiastic and engaging lessons for primarily Key Stage 3 and 4 students.

About the Role

The role is a full-time opportunity, providing mainly Key Stage 3 and 4 lessons in English and English Literature, contributing to the school's excellent academic performance, and leading students with a wide array of circumstances to success.

The school is looking for someone with thorough and up-to-date subject knowledge, good classroom management, and a positive approach to teaching and building relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality lessons in English and English Literature to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
  • Contribute to the school's excellent academic performance
  • Lead students with a wide array of circumstances to success
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject
  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching in UK schools
  • SEN provision experience
  • Strong classroom management and rapport-building skills
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to the wider school community
