We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher of English with a SEN specialism to join our team at a well-regarded secondary school in Eastbourne. The successful candidate will deliver enthusiastic and engaging lessons for primarily Key Stage 3 and 4 students, contributing to the school's excellent academic performance and leading children with a wide array of circumstances to success.
About the SchoolThe school is a positive and inclusive community with a strong recent attainment record across the Key Stages. They are expanding their programme of SEN provision and are looking for someone with thorough and up-to-date subject knowledge, good classroom management, and a positive approach to teaching and building relationships.
About the RoleThe role is a full-time opportunity, providing mainly Key Stage 3 and 4 lessons in English and English Literature. Dedicated time for planning and marking is also provided. The ideal candidate will have recent experience teaching in UK Schools, be confident and engaging when delivering lesson content, and have strong classroom management and rapport-building skills.
Requirements- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject. A recognised teaching qualification is a plus.
- Be capable in SEN provision.
