Cardiac Physiologist Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Cardiac Physiologist to join our expanding team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. As a Cardiac Physiologist, you will be responsible for providing and supporting a wide variety of both invasive and non-invasive procedures in our 4 busy, cardiac catheter labs and outpatient's department.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will be expected to work as an independent practitioner in basic cardiac diagnostic/interventional areas. Training and support will be provided to develop in more specialised or complex procedures.
Physiologists will be actively involved in the following areas of practice:
- Simple and complex device implant, follow up and extraction including pacemakers, ICD's, CRT, S-ICD, leadless and conduction system pacing.
- Structural Intervention including TAVI, Mitraclip, Valvuloplasty, ASD/VSD/PFO closure, other percutaneous congenital interventions and left atrial appendage occlusions.
- Cardiac catheterisation & PCI
- Non-invasive cardiology including CPEX & exercise testing and ambulatory monitoring.
