Key Responsibilities
  • Reactive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, mechanical systems, HVAC units, and building fabric to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Fault Diagnosis and Repair: Diagnose and repair faults in plumbing systems, mechanical equipment, and HVAC units to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Inspections and Reporting: Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and potential issues, and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work carried out.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other maintenance team members and departments to ensure efficient workflow and effective communication.
  • On-Call Support: Participate in an on-call rota to provide emergency maintenance support, with a standby pay.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid UK driving license (desirable).
