About the Role
At Tesco, we believe in the importance of collaboration and teamwork. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores and offices. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including coordinating repairs, working collaboratively with the team, and maintaining high energy levels to meet the demands of the role.

Key Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician, your specific responsibilities will include:
  1. Confidently interacting with external contractors to coordinate repairs and ensure seamless service delivery.
  2. Working collaboratively with the team to achieve quality service and maintain a positive attitude.
  3. Sustaining high energy levels to meet the demands of the role and maintain efficiency.
  4. Assisting the management team to keep our stores operating smoothly by maintaining equipment and facilities.
  5. Minimizing customer disruption by coordinating repairs with minimal impact on our valued customers.

Your responsibilities will also include ensuring all Tesco sites are a safe and functioning environment for customers and colleagues, following the planned work schedule to achieve first time fix, and working closely with team members to share best practice and knowledge.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate enthusiasm for maintaining high standards and have previous experience in a maintenance, engineering, or construction environment. You will also need to be digitally confident using a tablet to view daily work schedules and manage emails. Operational skills required include ONC or equivalent, full driving license, health & safety awareness, communication & collaboration, and Office 365 knowledge.
