**Job Summary**

At Delta Hotels Durham Royal County, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and attend to guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
  • Identify and operate shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings.
  • Maintain inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
  • Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts using approved communication programs.
  • Display knowledge and skills in areas such as air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Perform surface preparation, painting, and minor repairs as needed.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, plumbing, and electrical components.

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment and tools as needed.
