Divisional Financial Director

Robert Half Careers is pleased to partner with a growing organisation in Wallingford to recruit a Divisional Financial Manager. This role offers a salary of up to £70,000 plus a bonus and hybrid remote working arrangement. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a similar multi-entity structure. Key responsibilities include:

**Leadership and Team Management**

* Line manage members of the Management Accountant team, providing guidance, leadership, and development opportunities.

**Financial Reporting and Analysis**

* Produce timely and reliable monthly management accounts to meet tight deadlines.

* Identify and investigate variances against benchmarks, providing analysis and exploring potential problems with non-financial department heads.

**Project Management and Process Improvement**

* Lead various projects, including process and system improvements.

* Update Excel-based reconciliation and support packs for all Balance Sheet accounts.

**Strategic Review and Financial Planning**

* Support and challenge business heads with the Group's Quarterly Strategic Review process (forecasting).

* Prepare periodic financial statements and supporting schedules, tax computations, and cash flow forecasts.

**Financial Communication and Advisory**

* Interpret and communicate financial data to non-financial managers, advising on business impact and making recommendations.
