Location: Poole, Dorset

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Hours: Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.00pm, Friday 9.00am - 4.00pm

Our client is a pioneering company that crafts products for enduring quality. They are seeking an Inventory/Supply Chain Analyst to join their National Accounts team to ensure optimal stock levels for each customer.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the full product lifecycle, including range launch, promotions, and stock exit.
  • Stock optimization using Slim4 forecasting software, while staying within budget constraints.
  • Monitoring lead times, buffer stocks, and MOQs, and making necessary adjustments.
  • Planning and scheduling product availability.
  • Analyzing data from various sources (Slim4/Web portals/Excel) using quantitative methods.
  • Preparing forecasts to incorporate seasonality, with a monthly review of all SKUs.
  • Placing orders as required to the factory base.
  • Monitoring supplier orderbooks to ensure orders meet OTIF.
  • Communicating with Far East Suppliers to plan product availability.
  • Communicating with our Far East office to expedite and defer orders.
  • Being the first point of contact for customers, including resolving stock issues.
  • Assisting in planning for new range changes.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Slim4 forecasting software.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles.
