Key Responsibilities

  • Execute procurement strategies aligned with project requirements, ensuring compliance with established processes for materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of potential suppliers, focusing on their financial stability, safety records, operational capacity, and historical performance.
  • Facilitate the organization and dissemination of procurement-related data.
  • Monitor supply chain performance metrics for ongoing projects, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Support the sustainable management of the supply chain ecosystem, fostering strong relationships and ensuring performance assessments are conducted.

Candidate Profile

  • Possession of a Level 3 Diploma in Procurement & Supply.
  • Experience in purchasing goods, materials, and subcontracting.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes within the rail industry.
  • Understanding of civil engineering procurement practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong negotiation capabilities.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
