Holden Knight Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of a local authorities in Berkshire/Surrey for experienced and passionate Senior Social Workers and Social Workers to join their Family Safeguarding Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dedicated team focused on safeguarding vulnerable children and supporting families to achieve positive outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families, identifying risks and creating tailored support plans to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
- Lead on complex child protection cases, prioritizing the safety and welfare of children and ensuring that decisions are in line with statutory guidelines and best practice.
- Collaborate with families to provide practical support and interventions, promoting positive change and empowering them to achieve their goals.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including health, education, and other social care professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting vulnerable children and families.
