Family Liaison Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Liaison Officer to join our team at Maypole Primary School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in building strong relationships with our families and supporting them in achieving their goals.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen and empathise with families from diverse backgrounds. You will work closely with our teachers, support staff, and families to identify and address the needs of our students, ensuring they receive the best possible support to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with families, providing support and guidance as needed
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to identify and address student needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage families in their child's education
  • Provide information and resources to families on various topics, including education, health, and wellbeing
  • Support families in accessing external services and resources
