Senior Gynaecological Oncologist

Job Overview
University College London Hospitals is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gynaecological Oncologist to join our team. This is a fixed-term post for 6-12 months, providing an opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care and innovative service models.
Main Duties
The successful candidate will join a team of 4 other permanent Gynaecological Oncologists and a wider multidisciplinary team. Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Gynaecological Oncology service to ensure compliance with cancer waiting times targets
- Contributing to the colposcopy service and associated multidisciplinary team to ensure compliance with national targets
- Maximising efficiency of surgical pathways, incorporating pre-operative optimisation, in-patient flow, enhanced recovery, and liaison with the peri-operative medicine team
- Providing an efficient and responsive surgical service for the North Central London cancer network
- Participating in research, education, and audit within the department of Gynaecological Oncology
