Medical Oncologist with Special Interest in Gynaecology

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist with a special interest in Gynaecology to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a leading provider of cancer services, we are committed to delivering high-quality care to our patients.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Medical Oncologist to work with our Gynaecology team to plan and supervise the oncology treatment of patients. You will be expected to work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide a safe and high-quality outpatient oncology and SACT delivery service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and supervise the oncology treatment of patients with gynaecological cancers
  • Work closely with the Gynaecology multidisciplinary team to provide a safe and high-quality outpatient oncology and SACT delivery service
  • Supervise undergraduates, doctors in training, and other colleagues
  • Contribute to the development of our cancer services and ensure that we are providing the best possible care to our patients
Requirements
  • Entry on GMC Specialist Register or, be within 6 months of receipt of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) at time of interview or, provide GMC confirmed eligibility for entry on the Specialist Register
  • Evidence of being up to date and fit to practice safely, and aware of own training needs
  • Postgraduate degree (or equivalent)
  • Broad range of experience in Medical Oncology in particular specialist interests in gynaecology cancers
