Job Summary:

The Facilities Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Security and Soft Services at the Liverpool sites, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the security operation across the Liverpool sites, working with the Security Sub-contractor to ensure services are delivered in accordance with current regulations, legislation, and organisational standards.
  • Coordinate day-to-day Facilities activities, including the management and support of outsourced services such as general facilities services, catering, and waste services.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve the performance of outsourced services, working with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with current and future operational and legal requirements.
  • Manage and support the delivery of the Facilities Management budget, ensuring the operational and cost-effective provision of outsourced services.
  • Collect and monitor data to ensure accurate response to reported problems, elevating cGMP-related issues to the Leadership and Quality stakeholders.
  • Review and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs), specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with relevant Health and Safety standards, local zoning laws, and GMP regulations.

Requirements:

  • Recognised industry Security and Manned guarding Qualification.
  • Minimum Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management industry certification.
  • Proven experience within a Facilities/Security environment.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
  • Strong stakeholder communication skillset.
  • Action and problem-solving mindset with the ability to drive multiple accountabilities simultaneously.
  • Functional knowledge of operating within a GMP regulated environment.
