We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Protection Specialist to join our Public Health Team at Cambridgeshire County Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering our Health Protection responsibilities and ensuring the health and well-being of our communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide system leadership, coordination, and assurance across a range of organisations to ensure local systems are in place to respond to an outbreak or an emergency.
- Support the local response to any health protection incidents, outbreaks, and emergencies.
- Work closely with colleagues across the Council and build good relationships across many different sectors.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and resilient individual with a background in health protection or public health. You will need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
