About the Role:
Oxenden House Care Home is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team. As a Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for promoting the independence and well-being of our residents, while also ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote the independence and well-being of residents, focusing on choice, dignity, and respect.
- Write and update care plans, maintaining accurate daily records.
- Minimum of one year's experience in a residential or nursing home setting.
- Awareness of Person-Centred Care Planning principles.
- Full driving license.
- Knowledge of abuse prevention, recognition of signs, and procedures to follow.
Preferred Requirements:
- Two years' experience in a similar role in a nursing home.
- One year's experience working in a similar role in a residential or nursing home; or
- Two years' experience in a Senior Care role in a residential or nursing home.
- One year's experience caring for residents with dementia.
- NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health and Social Care or above.
