About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Football Development Specialist to join our team at Colchester United Community Foundation. As a key member of our Community Team, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering high-quality participation, health, and inclusion programs for children, young people, and adults across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Develop and implement participation programs that align with the Colchester United Community Foundation's goals and objectives.
  • Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and management to Football Programmes within the Community Foundation, meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and development targets.
  • Participation and Engagement: Deliver high-quality provision and experiences on all participation and community programs, ensuring maximum engagement and participation from players and participants.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Collaborate with colleagues, players, and parents/guardians to maximize impact and help players and participants realize their potential.
  • Evaluation and Quality Assurance: Evaluate program development and quality of delivery, with the support of the Colchester United Community Foundation's Head of Delivery.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience: UFEA C Coaching Award, FA Introduction to First Aid in Football, FA Safeguarding Children, and a full clean UK driving license.
  • Desirable Qualifications and Experience: UFEA B Coaching Award, Advanced Youth Award, FA Level 2 Emergency Aid (EFAiF), and previous experience working within Football Development/Community Development environments.
