Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Incident Management: Assume the role of major incident manager upon major incidents, focusing on coordinating efforts, seeking updates from fellow tech teammates, and providing timely updates to all stakeholders.
  • System Administration: Perform system operation and administration tasks, including checking and monitoring multiple systems performance on a daily basis.
  • Problem Solving: Use excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail to resolve production system issues.
  • Communication: Provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with internal users and external vendors to investigate and resolve production system issues.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to refine and streamline day-to-day operations via automations and help the team manager to define work rosters, schedules, and other managerial tasks.
  • Knowledge Management: Document knowledge articles and manage the team's knowledge base, sharing and promoting overall knowledge level.
  • Adaptability: Stay abreast of the latest technology and trends and adapt to new systems and processes.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in application support or application development, with a strong interest in working in crypto technology and financial environments.
  • Skills: Proficient in spoken and written English language, proficient in database queries/SQLs, knowledge in shell scripting and basic Linux commands, and experience with ITSM platforms like Jira, ServiceNow, etc.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, excellent time management ability, and self-organized and motivated.
Preferred Technical Skills
  • Cloud Computing: Experience in cloud computing, AWS, and Kubernetes.
  • Monitoring Systems: Experience administering multiple monitoring systems such as Datadog, NewRelic, Kubernetes, Grafana, and Elastic Cloud.
  • Programming Languages: Experience coding in Ruby, Python, Java, and/or GoLang.
