Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and dedicated individual to work in a variety of primary schools, providing daily cover and filling short-term roles. As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will be responsible for leading full classes of pupils from reception to year 6, collaborating with teaching staff to plan engaging activities, and promoting the development of key skills.
Responsibilities- Lead full classes of pupils from reception to year 6.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and implement engaging activities.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Promote the development of key skills through targeted interventions and activities.
- Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
- Contribute to the overall pastoral care and well-being of students.
- Hold a recognized HLTA qualification or equivalent certification.
- Have previous experience working with primary school students, preferably in a classroom setting.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of primary education principles, curriculum, and teaching methodologies.
- Display patience, empathy, and adaptability when working with diverse student populations.
