About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Northampton.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality classroom support to teachers and students.
  • Lead small group sessions and deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of lessons, as well as assessment and feedback.
  • Support students with additional needs, ensuring they receive the help they require to succeed.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications or experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
  • Experience supporting students in primary or secondary schools.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage classroom behaviour.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to student development.
  • Confidence to deliver lessons and support teachers effectively.
