About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in schools across Northampton.

As an HLTA, you will provide high-quality classroom support to teachers and students, leading small group sessions and delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.

You will assist in the planning and preparation of lessons, as well as assessment and feedback, and support students with additional needs, ensuring they receive the help they require to succeed.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, and work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to achieve the best outcomes for students.

Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications or experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
  • Experience supporting students in primary or secondary schools.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage classroom behaviour.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to student development.
  • Confidence to deliver lessons and support teachers effectively.
