Fire Safety Consultant

Role Overview
As a Fire Safety Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing fire safety design solutions to a diverse range of clients.
- Overseeing and advising on projects within the built environment.
- Formulating and executing fire safety strategies.
- Keeping abreast of current fire safety regulations and legislation.
- Evaluating fire-related risks in projects and collaborating on mitigation strategies.
- Assessing and commenting on the quality of fire safety installations.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- An engineering degree, preferably in fire safety, or a postgraduate qualification in fire safety (other disciplines may be considered).
- Demonstrated experience in fire safety engineering and managing fire safety projects.
- A solid understanding of fire safety regulations and standards.
- A willingness to travel and a flexible approach to the working environment.
- Experience in fire modeling is advantageous.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- The ability to gather information and present it in a clear and structured manner.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from £55,000 to £65,000, along with a range of benefits including:
- Hybrid working arrangements.
- 28 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (3 days to be taken between Christmas and New Year).
