About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Lifestyle Activities Coordinator to join our team at Excelcare Holdings. As a key member of our care home team, you will be responsible for creating and organizing meaningful and engaging activities and a lifestyle programme throughout the home to enrich the lives of our residents.

The successful candidate will have a passion for working with older adults and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives. You will work closely with our care team to establish an understanding of the activities and lifestyle changes that would benefit our residents individually or as a group.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering a range of activities and events to promote social interaction, physical activity, and mental stimulation
  • Collaborating with our care team to identify the needs and interests of our residents and develop a lifestyle programme that meets their needs
  • Building relationships with local community organizations, schools, and colleges to access resources and opportunities for our residents
  • Organizing days out and trips to promote social interaction and exploration
