About the Role:
Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled and security-conscious individual to fill the position of Project Escort (Security Officer) at HMP Bristol. As a key member of the operational security team, you will be responsible for escorting and assisting contractors as they carry out maintenance work around the prison.
Key Responsibilities:
- Escort contractors during maintenance work, visitor checks, toolkit checks, main gate duties, and vehicle searches.
- Assist with the safety of visitors around the site and ensure no unauthorized items enter the site.
- Work closely with the operational security team to ensure a secure and efficient working environment.
Requirements:
- No prior experience is required, as full on-the-job training will be provided.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to work well in a team and provide excellent customer service.
- Security clearance is required, and the successful candidate will be subject to full prison clearance.
