Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Bioinformatics Lead to join our Machine Learning and Bioinformatics team in Cambridge (UK) and Boston (US). As a key member of our team, you will propose, design, implement, and develop solutions for complex Bioinformatics applications that will impact our life-changing products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Work at the forefront of innovation in life sciences, developing next-generation solutions for Bioinformatics applications.
- Lead projects and engage in long-term strategic planning, collaborating with international teams to identify, plan, develop, and deliver production-quality, cloud-based solutions.
- Supervise and mentor Bioinformatic developers and analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of our projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Bioinformatics solutions into our products and services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Bioinformatics and Machine Learning, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our solutions.
Requirements
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Bio-Medical Engineering, or a related field.
- Five years or more of relevant experience in Bioinformatics, with a strong background in NGS analysis pipelines, antibody or protein structural modelling, and immune repertoire sequencing.
- Experience in leading projects and supervising people, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Strong understanding of data and statistical analysis, with experience in R and statistical analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic multidisciplinary environment.
