X4 Technology is seeking a highly skilled Firmware Engineer to join our team on a contract basis.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Firmware Engineer to work on a contract basis with our team at X4 Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing and testing automation scripts for configuration and flashing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automation scripts for configuration and flashing processes.
  • Implement Secure Boot functionality.
  • Design and implement A/B Slot Deployments with Watchdog.
  • Develop and maintain OTA Updates.
  • Implement Hard Drive Encryption.
  • Automate kernel configuration, build, and flashing processes using Bash scripts and/or Ansible.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in firmware development and automation.
  • Strong understanding of Secure Boot and A/B Slot Deployments.
  • Experience with OTA Updates and Hard Drive Encryption.
  • Proficiency in Bash scripting and/or Ansible.
