Overview:
X4 Technology is seeking a skilled Firmware Engineer to collaborate with our team on a contractual basis. This position entails working flexibly to tailor kernel and bootloader functionalities on ARM-based Nvidia Jetson platforms. If you possess a robust background in embedded systems and are enthusiastic about cutting-edge technology, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.
Key Duties:
- Implement Secure Boot protocols on Nvidia Jetson platforms.
- Oversee and configure Hard Disk Encryption processes.
- Design and uphold OTA Update capabilities utilizing A/B slot features in the bootloader with integrated watchdog failover.
- Develop and validate automation scripts for configuration and flashing tasks.
- Produce clear and organized documentation for all processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in configuring Nvidia Jetson or comparable ARM-based devices, including:
- Secure Boot implementation
- A/B Slot Deployments with Watchdog integration
- OTA Update management
- Hard Drive Encryption techniques
- Proficiency in automating kernel configuration, build, and flashing processes using Bash scripts and/or Ansible.
