Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist and Teacher, you will play a key role in providing and coordinating pharmacy undergraduate clinical teaching, working across the Trust and at Liverpool John Moore's University.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality clinical teaching to undergraduate MPharm students, ensuring they become excellent clinical pharmacists.
  • Provide advanced clinical services to the division of surgery, adhering to professional, departmental, and Trust policies.
  • Offer highly specialist pharmaceutical information to medical and nursing staff, patients, and General Practitioners within the Trust.
  • Act as an independent prescriber, following the Trust's Non-Medical Prescribers policies and guidelines.
  • Participate in consultant ward rounds and multidisciplinary meetings relevant to designated wards and/or directorates.

Requirements:

  • Experience in clinical pharmacy and education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of professional, departmental, and Trust policies.
