Assistant Leisure Manager

At Foxhills Collection, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Leisure Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Pavilion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, leading a team of staff, and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the Pavilion team in delivering a first-class member and guest experience
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Pavilion, including staff management and training
- Ensure the highest cleanliness standards are maintained, working closely with the housekeeping department
- Produce the Pavilion team rota, ensuring staffing levels meet business demands
- Recruit and train new team members, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional customer service
- Oversee the delivery of Pavilion activities for children, ensuring staff allocation and setup are completed efficiently
- Ensure all staff are trained and regulations are adhered to, working closely with the Leisure Manager
- Lead the activities team, ensuring training records are up to date and refresher training is carried out seasonally
- Lead the Pool Responder team, ensuring training records are up to date and refresher training is carried out in line with policy
- Be a qualified first aider and emergency responder, ready to respond in the event of incidents
- Oversee daily opening and closing checklists, and Pool Responder Matrix completion
- Ensure staff-to-child ratios are maintained, in line with Foxhills guidelines
- Report and resolve any booking system errors, minimizing disruption to members
- Ensure Health & Safety management is in place, including policies, risk assessments, and safe systems of work
- Adhere to policies and procedures, ensuring a consistently high standard of customer care
- Carry out duty management shifts, supporting the wider team
- Manage relationships with external service providers, ensuring best terms and high service standards
- Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within the leisure or hospitality industry
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- First Aid qualification
