Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Leisure Manager to join our team at Foxhills Collection. As a key member of our leisure operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Pavilion, ensuring a first-class member and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance to the Pavilion Receptionists, Pool Responders, and Activities Assistants to deliver exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the highest cleanliness standards of the building are maintained, working closely with the housekeeping department to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Staff Management: Produce the Pavilion team rota, ensuring staffing levels meet business demands, and complete payroll and administrative tasks.
  • Training and Development: Lead the recruitment and training of new team members, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Activity Management: Oversee the successful delivery of Pavilion activities for children, ensuring allocation of staff and supporting with set-up and preparation where needed.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all staff are appropriately trained and regulations are adhered to by all colleagues, service providers, and customers.
  • Health and Safety: Oversee daily opening and closing checklists, Pool Responder Matrix completion, and ensure staff-to-child ratios are maintained according to Foxhills guidelines.
  • Customer Care: Provide a consistently high standard of customer care, welcoming guests to the Pavilion in a professional, business-like, and friendly manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete reception administration duties, including fitness, activity, tennis, and swimming bookings.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within the leisure or hospitality industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Qualifications: First Aid qualification.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
