Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Harrow. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing senior medical cover care to 12 inpatients on our Male Acute ward.
Key Responsibilities- Take overall responsibility for patient treatment plans in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team
- Assess referrals and undertake mental state examinations of service users
- Undertake appropriate investigations, diagnosis, and treatment
- Participate in ward rounds and clinical audits
- Lead the implementation of risk assessment, risk management, and embed clinical governance
- Supervise reports for Mental Health Act tribunals and managers hearings
- Participate in the 1:7 on-call rota
- Salary up to £150,000 per year
- 30 days annual leave entitlement excluding Bank Holidays
