About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic individual to lead our thought leadership efforts at With Intelligence. As Head of Thought Leadership, you will be responsible for driving the creation and development of engaging data-led and content-led research that showcases unique market insights on the alternative asset management industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive thought leadership strategy that aligns with our business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Build and manage a high-performing team of analysts and researchers to deliver high-quality, data-based analysis and insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to leverage our proprietary data and expertise to drive business growth.
  • Design and develop compelling thought leadership content and insights propositions that differentiate our products and services in the market.
  • Partner with data research, editorial, and events teams to leverage our extensive proprietary database, intel, and industry connections to drive a pipeline of industry reports, briefs, and analytical content.
  • Act as an ambassador and raise With Intelligence's profile as a source of essential insights, data, and analytics on alternative asset management, with industry bodies and through active market engagement.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience producing research commentary and data analysis, including compelling market-facing thought leadership across multiple formats and delivery channels.
  • Strong business and data acumen, reporting capabilities, and focus on measurable outcomes.
  • Willingness to experiment, take risks, and creatively think of new angles to interpret data from across the business, while maintaining a high standard of accuracy in published content.
  • Strong analytical skills, with fluency in Excel and preferably SQL. Additional data science and programming skills highly desirable.
  • Strong delivery and execution track record, highly organized, and attentive to detail.
  • Ability to angle content for a specific audience and a passion for data-driven storytelling.
  • A strong relationship builder who can work collaboratively with and influence stakeholders across diverse teams at all levels of the company.
  • Clear understanding of responsive design, content, and conveying complex information in a way that readers can easily digest.
  • Affinity to the asset management industry, alternative investments/private markets, and/or asset allocation is a significant benefit.
  • Relevant industry experience, ideally in business information services or asset management.
